a new chapter

I finally did it. After years of saying that I was going to move to Indiana, I did it. I loaded everything up (well, not really even everything) in my car and started driving.
The first four hours of driving weren't bad at all. It was just like going to the temple. But the drive across Illinois. It was brutal. Even though it only took a couple of hours, it felt like it was about ten. There's nothing in southern Illinois. The most entertaining part about all of it was the town names. Places like St. Elmo and Effingham and Pocahontas.
I start working on Monday. The Kohl's here is way smaller than the one I've been at. Its pre-remodel. I can already tell its going to be different from what I'm used to.
In between my 16 hours at Kohl's next week and trying to get all settled in here I get to start the job search all over again. Hopefully before too long I will be able to find something amazing.
