Okay. I suck at this.

Long and short.

Here goes.

I moved home to KC.

I was offered a job teaching in the Headstart class in Independence.

I had been homeless for almost three weeks.

I loved Indiana.

I love the people I met and got to know there.

I love the things I learned.

But I also love being home.

I love being a productive grown-up member of society.

I love the knowledge that I have a retirement account.

And that I can move out on my own in the next few months.

Leaving and coming back were the two best decisions I could have made for myself.
